The detail
What is DPF cleaning?
Your diesel particulate filter traps soot from the exhaust. Short trips, town driving and underlying faults can allow soot to build up. A restriction may be accompanied by warning lights, reduced power, poor economy or limp mode.
- On-vehicle cleaning: tackles soot build-up without removing a suitable filter.
- Mobile appointments at your home or workplace, with the DPF remaining on the vehicle.
- Underlying faults discussed and investigated where required.
- Readings and operation checked as part of the agreed work.
Why it matters
A clean may avoid a replacement.
A blocked DPF does not automatically mean you need a new one. We offer on-vehicle cleaning at your home or workplace and explain whether it is suitable for your filter and vehicle. A physically damaged filter or an unresolved fault may need additional work.
