An exhaust-filter warning or loss of power on a Transit, Kuga or another Ford diesel can be linked to soot restriction, but the message alone does not confirm the cause. We assess the filter readings and vehicle faults before agreeing the cleaning work.
What to tell us
Some Ford applications use a vapouriser. Where fitted, a fault in that system may need attention alongside the filter. Tell us about previous vapouriser, sensor or DPF work so we can consider the history. Vapouriser replacement is a separate service and is quoted when required.

Do you cover Transit and Transit Custom vans?
Yes, as well as Transit Connect and Ford diesel cars. Send the registration, engine details and symptoms so we can confirm the right approach.
Is a vapouriser replacement included in a DPF clean?
No. If the vehicle uses a vapouriser and it needs replacement, that is discussed and quoted separately. Cleaning the filter does not replace a faulty component.
What should I send for a Kuga or Focus enquiry?
Your registration, mileage, postcode, exact dashboard message and any fault codes you already have. Please also mention previous DPF or fuel-vapouriser work.
How much does an on-vehicle clean cost?
An on-vehicle clean starts from £249. The call-out and DPF health check is £120. A clean with a 60-day warranty starts from £325, subject to terms. We confirm the work and price with you before proceeding.
