A message about the risk of particle filter blockage concerns the filter’s condition. On vehicles equipped with an additive system, a low-additive message indicates that this separate system needs attention. Cleaning the DPF does not replenish its additive supply.

Send a dashboard photograph rather than describing every emissions alert as a DPF light. Include your registration, engine and mileage. A Peugeot Partner, 3008 or Citroën Berlingo can have different equipment depending on its engine and production date, so the model name alone is not enough.

Soot cleaning and underlying faults
